Overview
Karen Morris is an experienced executive and director with over 30 years of multi-disciplined leadership experience in the corporate insurance industry. Having sat as both an executive advisor and decision-maker, she brings an operator’s pragmatism and insight to her mentoring engagements.
Career History
Morris has led organizations in Legal, Strategy, Communications, Marketing and Product Management, and has served as a director and advisor to boards. Following 21 years at Allstate, Morris served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel for USAA’s Property and Casualty (P&C) Group.
Morris served as an executive board member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, including as President from 2020-21. Morris also served as a member of the University of Texas Center for Women in the Law General Counsel Working Group.
Morris is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), with advanced training in the Neuroscience of Change, Internal Family Systems and Adult Development.
Personal
Morris received a B.A., magna cum laude, from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. She resides in Burbank, California.
