Overview
Dr. Alex Mitko, Ph.D., is the Head of Data Analytics at The ExCo Group, where he supports our team’s succession and assessment practice. He plays a key role in developing assessment reports through analyzing interview and survey data. He also assists in creating tools that utilize data analytics to extract widespread themes and patterns indicative of impactful leadership.
Personal
Prior to joining The ExCo Group, Alex spent 7+ years conducting research in the field of cognitive psychology. He earned his PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University where he led a research program examining physical reasoning through the lens of individual differences. His work has been showcased in multiple peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Before attending grad school, Alex received his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College, where he majored in Neuroscience and was the football team captain. In his leisure time, Alex enjoys stand-up comedy and magic. He currently resides in Boston, MA.
