Overview

Lauren Bomgardner is a Senior Leadership Consultant at The ExCo Group. In her role, she regularly interfaces with Executive Talent Management as a thought partner in the creation and design of their overall leadership development strategies. She is a sounding board for customers as they think through succession planning and building their leadership pipeline for tomorrow. As a key part of her role, Lauren leads ExCo’s pro bono and non-profit practice, connecting new and established ExCo mentors with opportunities to develop leaders in the public sector. She regularly partners with ExCo mentors across industries to translate specific leadership success profiles into coaching that drives both individual and enterprise impact for our customers.

Career History

Before joining The ExCo Group, Lauren worked as a Business Development Specialist at Focused Solutions LLC, a therapy practice and consulting firm dedicated to enhancing emotional well-being and productivity in the workplace. Her diverse background includes early childhood education, non-profit management, and workplace culture consulting.

Personal

Lauren holds a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Social Work in the Workplace from the University of Maryland. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government with a minor in Modern Dance Composition from the College of William and Mary.

Originally from Northern Virginia, she now resides in DC with her husband and her dog, Pepper. In her free time, she continues to pursue her passion for dance by actively participating in the local modern company, Heart Stück Bernie.
