Overview
Juan Pujadas is a board member and former C-suite executive with years of experience as Vice Chairman, Chief Executive of Global Advisory Services, Chief Risk Officer, and other senior roles in Fortune 500 companies such as PwC and Santander Investment. Pujadas brings a deep understanding of the financial and technology industries, and has worked closely with many technology startups focusing on aspects of financial services and health care. He presently advises companies in artificial intelligence, payments, health-tech, and virtual reality. Pujadas has worked and lived internationally, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Career History
Pujadas currently serves on the board of directors at Wells Fargo & Company and Wells Fargo, N.A. on the Credit, Finance, Risk and Technology Committees of the Board. He serves on the board of UST Global, a privately held software and technology engineering firm active in 25 countries. Pujadas is also on the policy board of Mainetti, Inc, the world’s largest manufacturer of fashion accessories and hangers. Additionally, Pujadas serves on the Board of CONSOL-USA, a minority owned staffing and outsourcing services firm. He is director of CLX Health, the leading provider of compliance solutions for medical diagnostic solutions and programs, as well as its parent SIRIUSIQ, a technology development platform provider.
A former Principal of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) LLP, Pujadas served as a Vice Chairman, Global Advisory Services of PwC International and Chief Executive of Global Advisory Services, the global consulting, strategy, forensic, and M&A businesses of PwC. Prior to that, he was the co-founder and leader of Advisory Services in the US. Pujadas held other senior roles at PwC, including Managing Partner for Strategy and leader of the Global Risk Management Solutions practice for the Americas, the Financial Services GRMS practice, and the Global Financial Risk Management Group.
Before joining PwC, Pujadas was the Chief Risk Officer of Santander Investment, the international investment banking arm of Banco Santander. During his time there, Pujadas was a member of the Executive Committee of Santander Investment and the Management Committee of the commercial banking division of Banco Santander.
Pujadas also serves on the Board of Advisors of The School of Social Policy and Practice of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as on the Advisory Council of IESE Business School in Barcelona. He previously served as Senior Advisor at Eurasia Group, the leading global geopolitical advisory firm.
Personal
Pujadas is a graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Finance) from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Science) from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. He now resides in New York.
